What is the Exploring the World Initiative?

The Exploring the World Initiative is a part of Acewall Scholar’s Community Programs. Our “Community Programs” bring classroom objectives to life, exposing students to both STEM concepts and the arts. Our goal is to give students an opportunity to reach for more, and to establish a vision for future life goals. The application of concepts learned in the classroom is essential for a deeper understanding and for mastery.

Field Trips and more!

Our Community Programs provides field trips and activities at NO or LOW COST to all participants. Through parnterships with community businesses, re-investments by Acewall Scholars, and donations from members of our community, we have taken our participants to places like VA Rep. Theatre, Great Wolfe Lodge, and Wicked The Musical. We believe in making sure no child is left behind due to a lack of financial resources. With this in mind, we make sure cost in not a barrier to children experiencing fun and informative activities.
